This picture was taken in the summer of 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I used a Minolta X370N with Ilford HP5 Plus black and white film. I hand-processed the negative and printed the final image in my then makeshift darkroom on Ilford Pearl black and white paper. The original black and white print was recently revisited, scanned into Adobe Photoshop CS4 and colored for this final result. The original print garnered a finalist position in the 2000 Photographer's Forum Magazine photo competition, and was published in the annual that year.
